We're thrilled to introduce Rachel and Stephen Greathouse as the new owners of Alldredge Orchards, now known as Apple of My Eye Farm & Orchard! After 15 years away, Rachel is excited to return to her roots in Parkville.
In Rachel's time away, she received a Master of Social Work and worked primarily in the field of Sustainability while in St. Louis. Her passion for growing food began on a windowsill and over time blossomed into leasing farmland in 2022. Stephen, a freelance cinematographer, has been supportive of Rachel's farming endeavors and is eager to explore new filming opportunities in Kansas City.
After a two-year search for the perfect land, Rachel and Stephen fell in love with Alldredge Orchards the moment they stepped foot onto the property, hence the Apple of My Eye. They are committed to preserving the legacy and foundation of Curt and Kristy, while bringing new ideas, events, and programming to the farm.
Their desire for the farm is to create an atmosphere where family and friends can slow down and connect authentically with each other and nature. Rachel and Stephen hope you will visit and continue to make "core" memories at Apple of My Eye Farm & Orchard!
